Prayer Squares Ministry

At FCC Alameda we have a Prayer Squares ministry. The prayer square is a handmade token (knitted, crocheted or quilted) with the emblem of the cross worked into it, which we give to people with a printed prayer and message of friendship. It is a reminder to the person who carries it that someone cares about them and that God is present.

The prayer squares are made by the Tuesday Crafts & Music group. If you are interested in more information about prayer squares–how to get them or make them for yourself, or how to start your own prayer squares ministry–contact us by email:
or via Facebook: @AlamedaDisciples.
